The Gerontological Services Unit is a multidisciplinary company where our main objective is to maintain, and to the extent possible, improve the quality of life of our elderly.
Founded in March 2002, we put all our experience and dedication at your disposal to achieve this goal.
From the search for personnel, with guarantees upon request, to subsequent monitoring and constant maintenance of contact with the user to adapt to the new demands of the service.
Our staff is hired by the company as Home Help Assistants, so all official procedures will be carried out by the company, as well as the procedures in case the assistant leaves, whether due to illness or accident. You don't have to worry about anything...
We cover Home Help services covered under the DEPENDENCY Law since we are a company recognized by the Ministry for its implementation, also at all levels or grades (1, 2 and 3).

Who hires the service assistant?
The Gerontological Services Unit hires the assistant assigned to the service. This type of hiring means that the responsibility falls on the company in all aspects (substitution in case of sick leave or accident, preparation of payroll, personal income tax certificate, etc.
Why aren't they housekeepers?
Due to what has been said above, they are hired by the company as Home Help Assistants. Being able to carry out both domestic tasks (running the house, ironing, preparing meals, etc.) and, in addition, sanitary or personal tasks (medication monitoring, personal hygiene, application of creams, etc.).
